Research: Tech and catastrophes

Updated: Jul 14, 2021

Healthcare, Public Health, and Emergency Services endured unprecedented challenges coping with #covid19. The pandemic’s impacts on the nation’s critical infrastructure highlighted the need to improve emergency #preparedness and #response capabilities. Fortunately, solutions are emerging based on innovative new #technologies already in use in the Middle East, Europe, and North America.

We are integrating insights from these deployments, previous #research, and experience to find innovative #strategies for improving #emergency response and healthcare delivery in disruptive environments. Our objectives are to help industry executives, administrators, and practice leaders identify, test, and deploy practical, effective, and financially sustainable solutions. The first deliverables from these efforts center on core requirements and specifications to help guide improvement efforts.

The next posts will focus on requirements and drivers that emerged from our continuing efforts.
